WHICH ORGANIZATIONS IS THIS FUNDRAISER SUPPORTING? 

100% of proceeds from the sale of these unsigned prints (after printing and handling) will go directly to Afghan women journalists, both in the country and those forced into exile. Recipients will be identified through organisations that the NWMI (Network of Women in Media, India) is in touch with, such as the Centre for the Protection of Afghan Women Journalists; Women Journalists’ Co-ordination Center; Afghan Independent Journalists Association. Funds will be used for travel, visas, rebuilding small media enterprises, as well as for emergency subsistence, since many women journalists have been forced out of their jobs.

WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THIS FUNDRAISER?

The fundraiser ran for three weeks, beginning September 7, 2021 and ending September 30, 2021.
Please note that due to popular demand, we have left the print sale open to anyone who would like to contribute by purchasing a print. Please do email us at journalistsforafghanistan@gmail.com if you have any queries. 

WILL THE FINISHED PRINTS HAVE A BORDER?

Each print will include a white border that allows the final printed paper to achieve the dimensions of 12” x 17”. The sizes of these borders will vary, based on the dimensions of the original photograph.

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY PRINT YET

We will only print and ship once the fundraiser ends on Sept 30, 2021.  We ship from India and it may take up to 25 working days to be delivered depending on your location. If it's been longer than that and you still haven't received your print, please do email us and we'll find out the current status of your shipment and get back to you. Please note: As of Oct 1, 2021 we have started printing and shipping prints in chronological order (starting orders received as of Sept 7, 2021). We are a small team working on this on a purely voluntary basis and trying our best to get your prints to you at the earliest. Please bear with us. Thank you for your patience!

CAN I CANCEL/REFUND MY ORDER?

We cannot offer any cancellations or refunds as each purchase of prints is produced and made to order.

CAN I ORDER A PRINT IN A DIFFERENT SIZE? 

Unfortunately no, we can only offer prints at one size which is 10" x 15.”

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?

We ship from India to the rest of the world. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

We offer a flat shipping fee globally which is $20. Shipping WITHIN India is free.

WHAT IS THE CURRENCY, TAXES AND DUTIES ON THESE PRINTS?

All currency is in US dollars. All prices and shipping rates on our website exclude taxes and duties. Additional taxes and duties may be charged in your country and will have to be paid by you.
