“These veiled women and a child walking in front of snow-clad mountains, with heavy clouds hanging over them, seem to portray for me now the mystery underlying the future of Afghanistan. And the future of the women there, who are being cut off from the world again. But inside, the women of this country are as strong as these mountains - both silently witnessing the years of war.”
